# 11.4 Scaling Governance

As the ecosystem grows, so will the governance system. Planned upgrades include:

* Sub-DAOs for specific areas (e.g., grants, compliance, partnerships)
* Role-based permissions (proposal creators, reviewers, signers)
* Off-chain discussion forums synced with on-chain voting
* DAO onboarding for external communities and project partners
* Governance-as-a-service tooling for projects launched on Nucleus AI

This roadmap ensures the DAO remains efficient and scalable—without compromising its open, democratic principles.
